Estimate:

Chrysler described the 300E as “The International Classic That’s Made in America.” The 300E was also described by another source as the “Beautiful Brute.” It was the final year of the Exner body style first introduced in 1957, albeit with minor trim and detail changes. This would also be the last year that Chrysler would use the separate frame and body construction.

New underhood was a 413 cubic inch “Golden Lion” dual-quad V-8 with wedge-shaped combustion chambers and hydraulic valve lifters that was lighter in weight by 101 pounds and more cost-effective to build than the previous Hemi. The new engine produced 380-hp giving Chrysler claim to America’s most powerful production car. The transmission was fully automatic with three gears and a torque converter to help maximize power. This car is presented with a stunning nut and bolt restoration that was completed on a solid, rust free car. Sales totaled just 690 units; 550 hardtop coupes and 140 convertibles, adding to their desirability today.
