For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 in Carson, California

Vehicle Description

Here is a must see and real 1969 X77 DZ Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, that originally came equipped with the infamous DZ 302ci V8 engine. This Beautiful, and street legal, Pro Touring Camaro has been completely gone through and customized during a 6 year full frame up restoration and customization by a Pottstown street racer/company totaling over $150,000 which brought this car to an extraordinary level. The Camaro is powered by a Dave Bruetsle 454ci Chevrolet big block making roughly 700HP. Built with ARP fasteners, Eagle rods, Manley valves and timing chain, the engine is also equipped with a Edelbrock Torker intake manifold that has been port matched and flowed to the D port custom flowed heads. The 454ci big block engine is cooled off and maintained by a custom built Griffin aluminum radiator that can support up to 1000HP and a Stewart stage 3 aluminum water pump. All 700Hp is put to the ground through a bulletproof Turbo 400 transmission built by JG Transmissions in Pennsylvania. The Turbo 400 has a TCI valve body, ALTO red clutches, extra deep sump pan and a Transmission Specialties 3800 to 4000 RPM stall converter rated to 1000HP. The transmission is hooked to a Mark Williams 35 spline Ford 9-inch rear end with a Detroit Locker and 4.86 rear end gear set which also features Mark Williams master line 35 spline axles which are stopped by Mark Williams pro street style disc brakes and calipers. This '69 Camaro was built with a custom engineered and designed chassis by one of the premier chassis builders on the east coast, Larry King Race Cars, who fabricated a three quarter tube chassis with custom configured interior roll cage with a complete back seat inside the passenger compartment. It also has unequal length 4-link rear suspension with Koni dual adjustable coilovers, Hal QA1 front coilover assemblies with rack and pinion steering and polyurethane bushings. The Z/28 was treated to all new sheet metal including an NOS deck lid, NOS spoiler and everything was then painted a House of Kolor Candy Tangerine with Snow Flake Pearl and Flip Flop Z/28 Rally stripes. The Camaro features full LED parking and brake lights throughout with a custom electronics and gauge package powered by dual Optima batteries and Auto Rod membrane control center. Enjoy all 700HP in this street or strip ready Z/28, or take it to any show so friends or enthusiasts can appreciate this masterpiece of true Chevrolet muscle!
