The 1964 year model was the fourth and final year of this body style. Interior trim was much altered, and the exterior featured a more sculpted look which was actually designed to make the car more aerodynamic for NASCAR. The 1964 models gained an enviable reputation as durable, comfortable cars that offered decent handling and road-ability at a reasonable price. The base 300 was replaced by a line of Custom and Custom 500 models. This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible is powered with a 352ci V8 engine, a 4bbl carburetor, a Cruise-O-Matic 3 speed automatic transmission and power steering. This Galaxie 500 was built January 30, 1964 in Los Angeles, Ca that was special ordered to a Seattle dealership. This beautiful rust free always garaged stored classic includes a new dual exhaust system and 14 inch Firestone Supreme tires with original factory hubcaps. The Phoenician Yellow exterior has been repainted once and is complimented by the tan power top and matching convertible top boot. The trunk includes the vehicles original trunk floor mat, original spare and jack and cover. The original light beige Deluxe interior with dark beige inserts has its original AM radio and original Select Aire air-conditioning system.
