Vehicle Description
This 1937 MG SA underwent a high-quality restoration approximately 20 years ago. Aside from a few minor paint flaws, the vehicle shows very well. The interior trim is in nice condition, showing only slight bit of wear on the edge of the driver’s seat backrest. The attractive dash sports a beautiful gauge cluster, and the consignor indicated that all gauges work correctly and the MG starts easily and runs nicely. The consignor states that the vehicle is a joy for the current owner to drive, the gearbox shifts well and is quiet, and the steering is excellent. The three-position top works well and looks fine, according to the consignor. True mileage is unknown, but the odometer reads 03320.
The SA was one of the three “big” MG models of the late 1930s that included the four-cylinder VA and the slightly larger WA, introduced in 1938. Both the SA and the WA are accepted as Full Classics® by the Classic Car Club of America.
