Offered here for your consideration is a remarkable survivor one owner 1955 Chevy Bel Air Coupe with 34,038 original miles. Owned by the current owner's aunt, the car was purchased new in Santa Barbara, California and has remained garaged in the area.
The vehicle appears to have received one below average paint job in the past. All the chrome and stainless look to be original. The dash has its original patina as does the gauge cluster, radio and clock. The interior of the glove box shows original. The seats, door panels and carpets were reupholstered some time prior but I am not sure about the headliner. The trunks area is very solid and the factory rubber pad has gone away due to age. The pan in front of the radiator is solid as are the door bottoms.
The car is powered by the original 265ci V/8 matched to an automatic transmission. The photos speak volumes for the original condition of this car and have not been altered or enhanced in any manner. This Bel Air is certainly a find.
The owner has the original Chevy hub caps and they will come with this sale. The local Santa Barbara license plate frames will not be included with the car.
