Previous owner redid the whole front and rear suspension, GM Vortec crate motor, 5 speed manual transmission, and much more at a cost of over $18K. The following are some of the parts the last owner had replaced or rebuilt: struts rods, strut rod bolts, shock mounts, front and rear shocks, trailing arm bushings, rear spring, rear spring mounting kit, rear spindles, stub axles, tongue bushing, stainless steel brake hardware, rotors, trailing arm bearings, rear end bearings, upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, power steering control valve, power steering ram, power steering hoses, rag joint, sway bar links, control arm bushings, master cylinder, brake calipers, Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, fuel pump, harmonic balancer, flywheel, clutch kit, clutch fork, oil sending unit, water pump, upper and lower radiator hose, fan clutch, alternator, starter, exhaust, wiper/turn signal switch, and much more.
This corvette originally came out of California. The last owner bought it in 1992 and had it shipped to her home in Virgina.
We changed the spark plugs, oil and filter, rear end grease, checked and lubed the chassis, and rebuilt the carburetor. This corvette runs and drives really strong with plenty of power.
1977 was the last year for the short back window and the first year for black since 1969. GM only produced 6,070 in black and 7,982 manual transmissions out of 49,213 total production that year.
