door sports car that Cadillac came up. This here is a 2004 Cadillac
XLR. As some of you know, this car was produced from 2004 to 2009
in both standard models as well as the V series that at the time
was well north of $100,000. Now, not that there is a "standard"
model of this car. The silver paint on this sleek beauty presents
itself very well for an original 12 year old car. The fit and
finish is top notch on this car and everything works including the
HUD (Heads Up Display).
For all of you that don't know, this entire car was a collaboration
between Cadillac and team Corvette. Under the hood of this
streamlined piece of machinery sits a 32 valve Northstar 4.6 Liter
motor that puts out 320 very responsive HP. We can tell you from
experience of driving these in the past that you can hit triple
digits in this car very quickly and not even realize it. The power
band of this motor is so smooth it just sneaks up on you. With one
good push of the loud pedal you are gone in this baby and you are
leaving your competition in the dust. We speak all the time about
the ear to ear grin that these cars give you. This one isn't for an
exhaust that you can hear a block away, this one is for just how
fast this car is with a ton of luxury at the same time.
It looks like you have already closed the hood and ran around to
the driver door and just push that button for the door to pop open
and slide in to an extremely comfortable interior. Everything here
is original and very well maintained. You will see a little patina
on the seats which is to be expected, but there are no rips or
tears in the seats, dash, or door panels. Again, this is a very
well maintained car and with only 7318 miles a year put on it, this
car still has a ton of life in it. All that is left to do is put
your foot on the brake, and push that start button with your right
hand and get ready to have a blast. Slap this baby in to drive and
if you want to have a ton of fun, you can use the auto stick
version and slap gears up and down at your fingertips.
This truly is one of those cars that needs to be in your garage
today. You can blast down the highway with it, or you can just
cruise down the road with the A/C blasting cold in comfort. All of
the sensors have been replaced for the top so everything works just
like it should and you won't have to spend the $2,100 it costs to
