The Exterior
What can we say about this gorgeous Supra? The original paint has been kept in outstanding condition. I’ll be completely honest with you; I found three blemishes on the entire exterior of this car:
-One small scuff on the driver’s side rear wheel-lip molding, meausres about 3” in length – PLEASE SEE PICS
-The ONLY rust I could find on this car was in one small bubble at the very end of the passenger side door guard trim (the black body moldings had a metal strip inside, and would cause the strips to rust from the inside) – PLEASE SEE PICS
-The driver side headlight “eye-brow” (plastic trim ring) is broken. The owner has a replacement, and is currently working on getting it to us so we can swap it out with the new one PLEASE SEE PICS
Other than those minor blemishes this car is showroom quality, head to toe. We urge you to call with any questions!
The Interior
Assessment of the captains quarters? Same as the outside, if not, better. This car is absolutely smoke-free, stain-free, tear-free. Heck, the only wear and tear I see are on the floor mats! The car does come with the extra “privacy slide-out” for the rear cargo area. The radio works, the gauges all work, EVEN THE AC WORKS GREAT! Trust me when I say, you won’t be disappointed with this clean old JDM beast!
The Engine
This car runs like an absolute champ… As it should. There are less
10,000 miles on a complete factory re-manufactured engine. Also, less than 500 miles on drive-shaft, rear-end, and axles. From what we were told there was a mistake made during a routine maintenance, which caused the original engine to fail. Toyota paid in full to have the new engine installed, to ensure a quality job was done. We have extensive service records showing all of the work that went on (looks to be about 2011-2012). I know the thought of a re-man engine may scare some, but with a 150k on the odometer, this car just got a new lease on life! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own a stunning Japanese auto, with a fresh motor that’s ready for any drive you want to take it on!
Final Assessment
For me not being a huge fan of JDM cars, these just seem to have a special place in my heart. The thought that these cars started as these boxy sport-coupes with the Celica name attached to them, and quickly made a name all their own while evolving into one of the most notorious race-cars on the JDM scene. This car is an absolute blast to drive. It fires up without hesitation, shifts into gear with no concern in the world, and takes off like a rocket! The car is so light and nimble, handling is superb, and braking is an ease.
