The history on this 1930 Ford Model A Roadster dates back to 1979 when the first restoration was completed. Shortly after the restoration, the car was competing in shows and won its First Junior Award from the AACA in 1979 at the National Spring Meet in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Then in 1981 the car won its First Senior Award in Memphis, Tennessee. This shows that from the beginning the car was thoughtfully restored so that it would be preserved correctly for years to come.
The owner states that in the past this car was a National AACA Senior award winner in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is powered by a 200.5-cid, 40-hp inline four-cylinder engine that is connected to a sliding gear three-speed manual transmission. The paint work is finished in two-tone that consists of Elk Point Green on the belt line and molding, and Keywanne Green on the body matched with black fenders. The wire wheels are finished in Apple Green Paint.
The car features custom leather protection on the right rear fender for comfortable access into the rumbleseat, dual cowllights, windwings, stainless steel hubcaps, pop-out ignition switch, rearview mirror, quail radiator ornament and a Beverly Hills custom car cover.
