Masterpiece Vintage Cars is pleased to present this beautifully restored and well preserved 1956 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. The T-Bird went through a cosmetic restoration in early 2000 and has been well preserved and maintained since. All of the exterior panels are clean, straight and have very nice smooth lines. All chrome was either re- plated or replaced during the restoration.
The T-Bird features what is believed to be the original 312 4BBL V8 mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The 312ci 4BBL V8 was rebuilt around the time of the restoration and runs very smooth. With the 3-speed manual it certainly is a fun car to drive. Our mechanics took it out for a test drive and this T-Bird runs and drives very well. This T-Bird is a no options car with the exception of the Town & Country AM radio.
The shiny raven black exterior contrasts well with the white ported hard top and blends well with the white/red two tone interior. The T-Bird has an updated AM/FM/CD Stereo Radio so you can enjoy the tunes while you cruise with the top down.
