Vehicle Description
Up for sale in the Orlando Showroom is a beautiful 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL. The W113 body style made from 1963-1971, dubbed the â??Pagodaâ?, was a 2 seat roadster built to replace the legendary 300 SL and 190 SL. Throughout its production all models were equipped with various multi-port fuel injected inline six engines ranging from 2.3-2.8 liters. The body was very exotic for its time as the hood, trunk lid, door skins and tonneau cover were all made of aluminum to keep the car lightweight. This combined with a short and wide chassis and excellent independent rear suspension to provided superb handling. This 1964 example has been frame off restored to the beautiful condition you see it in now. Every square inch of paint on this car, including the hardtop, was stripped to bare metal, replaced where needed and repainted. The interior was also completely carpeted and upholstered in vibrant genuine Mercedes red leather. The restorer even replaced the soft top with a brand new canvas. Entertainment comes courtesy the Pioneer radio and amp equipped with Bluetooth and Satellite radio. This 64 Pagoda is the epitome of 60s style and is ready to be driven down Rodeo Drive or Route 66! You pick which one! Options include AM/FM/Sat/CD stereo, manual top, seat belts, leather interior and white wall tires.
