We just purchased this Grand Prix from the previous, older Turlock, California owners and brought it here to Boise, Idaho. As you can clearly see in the pictures and video this was their pride and joy for sure !! It was bought brand new in California, always been in California and includes both of it's ORIGINAL - "black plate" - California license plates, TOO COOL !! You can now own a GORGEOUS 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix Sport Coupe Two Door Hardtop that is getting VERY hard to find especially in this kind of BEAUTIFUL RESTORED condition ! The Pontiac Grand Prix was a stunning body style in 1964 and still is some 52 years later !! It still retains its correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Pontiac cowl mounted data plate and it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door jam mounted Pontiac VIN plate, both of which are shown in pictures. You may NOT find another one this NICE !! This car has been a NICE - DRY - SOLID - California - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western vehicle since new and boy does it show !! I drove this car as my daily driver for the last several days and I assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! This car is a sweet driver in town and cruises down the freeway at 75+ mph easily and smoothly. This is a QUALITY CAR FOR SURE THAT IS READY TO DRIVE, SHOW AND ENJOY !!
At the heart of this BEAUTY is what appears to be the VERY STRONG !! - ORIGINAL - "GROUND POUNDING" - Code "25K" - (303 HORSEPOWER AND 430 FT/LBS OF TORQUE FROM THE FACTORY !! ) - 389 CID V8 Motor that is running VERY well indeed. The motor also still retains the ORIGINAL 4 barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL "389-4" scripted air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL 4 barrel carburetor. Sounds GREAT too with the "THROATY" true dual exhaust system with dual chrome tips !! This car is BIG but I assure it's a ROCKET, TOO FUN !! The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - OPTIONAL - 3 speed - "Hydra-Matic" - automatic transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL !! - Code "268" - Black Vinyl with real wood grain accents Grand Prix bucket seat interior is in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE Black Vinyl front bucket seats, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Black Vinyl door panels, NICE Black carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Black Vinyl rear bench seat with folding center armrest, VERY NICE Silver Vinyl sun visors, VERY NICE Silver Vinyl headliner, NICE ORIGINAL Grand Prix steering wheel, NICE ORIGINAL center console, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome and Real Wood grain accented dash, VERY NICE Factory gauge clusters, Good ORIGINAL Black Vinyl dash pad with several cracks and a VERY NICE NEW Black Carpet dash mat. All of the ORIGINAL black rubber weather stripping is soft, supple and in good condition for being original. The GORGEOUS !! - Silvermist Gray Metallic exterior finish with black accent stripes is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! with really little to no wear showing and looks STUNNING as you can clearly see in the video above and the 100 ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! Silvermist Gray Metallic exterior with the BEAUTIFUL matching Black Vinyl Grand Prix interior is a GREAT color combination, how could it get any better ?!! This Pontiac Grand Prix comes nicely equipped including factory power steering, factory power brakes, factory front wing windows, factory power wipers, factory Economy / Vacuum gauge, factory front seat belts, good heater and defroster, original day / night rear view mirror, original Pontiac Delco AM radio which is no longer working however we found one advertised on eBay that is supposed to work and bought it and it comes with the car... picture included below), original clock which is no longer working, factory gauge clusters with a 120 MPH speedometer, original chrome driver's side view exterior mirror, factory center console mounted shifter and factory back up lights. This Classic 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix has GREAT looks and VERY STRONG !! 389 CID V8 power !! This is a NICE car and there are not many of these BEAUTIES left on the roads for sure !
These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME - FACTORY ORIGINAL - stainless steel Pontiac wheel covers wrapped in BRAND NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires, boy do they look OUTSTANDING on this Grand Prix and really retain that clean - "Factory Original" - look !! All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in NICE condition including Good ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging and a NICE ORIGINAL Front grill and headlight surrounds. The CLEAN trunk also sports a NICE gray carpet liner and a full size whitewall steel belted radial spare tire. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !!This Grand Prix is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in NICE condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure.
