Vehicle Description
I have for sale a true documented 11,942 original mile 1979 Z28. The car was being restored by the original owner in 1987, when He suddenly passed away. His wife kept the vehicle stored in their climate controlled garage. When the wife passed away, a family friend bought the car from the estate, since he cared for the car while in storage since 1987. When I purchased the car it was completely rust free and all the body panels are original and strait. I chose to paint the car, as it was faded and checked original single stage paint. I used Dupont Chroma Base and clear and then blocked and buffed to near perfection. It looks great. I also replaced all the door rubbers, belt moldings, grilles, upper and lower. All of the items that deteriorate over time. The undercarriage interior and engine bay are all well kept and clean. It is as close to new as you'll find, with the exception of the paint which is much better than new. It drives and stops straight. I would not hesitate to drive it on a trip. It is a collector grade car and has very low milege. It is in my opinion one of the nicest color combinations for the year. I don't want to get too wordy, so I'll leave any additional questions to you the buyers.
