Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a super clean 2005 Pontiac GTO. Pontiac fans rejoiced when it was announced the GTO would be back for the 2004 model year after three decades without one. Assembled in Australia, the new GTO was initially offered with the 5.7 Liter LS1 with an output of 350 HP. These early cars were no slouch, but in 2005 and 2006 they were greatly improved by adding the LS2 which boasts 6.0 Liters of displacement and 400 HP. The LS2 could be mated to a 6 speed manual or a 4 speed automatic. This one has the automatic, and has been nicely upgraded. A full custom exhaust system has been added to increase power and sound. The exhaust includes Kooks headers, Kooks high flow cat mid pipes, and a Corsa Touring exhaust system. To compliment the exhaust on the inhale side, a Volant air induction system has been installed. These parts are coupled with performance tune which helps get the most out of the modifications. The car has been lovingly maintained and had regular fluid changes. This is a two owner car with a clean vehicle history report. The exterior is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic. It sits on the factory alloy wheels with newer Michelin Pilot Sport tires in all four corners. The interior features a 2 + 2 seating layout with leather sport bucket seats. The front seats are 8 way power adjustable. Entertainment is provided by a 200 watt 10 speaker audio system with a 6 disc in dash CD player. Pontiac did a great job with the 2004-2006 GTO generation and it certainly can be considered a modern classic. Here's a way to have a GTO with modern equipment, reliability, and performance.
