The current owner purchased it in 1963 and enjoyed it through high school and college, but he decided to sell it once entering the military. He was able to track it down almost 40 years later though and reacquired it in 2003, then had it undergo a complete two-year restoration. This amazing muscle car has been driven approximately 4,300 miles since that time. Mechanically, it performs better today than it did when it left the factory showroom.Additionally, this 1955 Pontiac Chieftain does show slight signs of wear from the past 13 years but it’s super clean throughout and seriously impressive.
