Here we have a stunning 1948 Chevrolet 3100 5 window pick up that has been built into one awesome street rod cruiser. Starting with a rust free super solid body that was removed from it's original chassis where all new updated suspension will be added for a smooth and comfortable ride. The front suspension received a cordova sub-frame with torsion bar suspension along with power steering and power disc brakes. The rear is from a late model thunderbird (1997) independent rear suspension with disc brakes and a 3.08 gear ratio. The power train consist of a GM 350 V8 topped with an Edelbrock carb, HEI distributor and headers. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic. The body of the truck is arrow straight with an excellent fit and finish and the two stage turquoise paint has a bright shine to it. All chrome, glass and weather stripping are all new and look great. New wood bed also. The interior has been finished in gray leather with bucket seats, chrome tilt column, Classic Instrument gauges, air conditioning and all new chrome hardware. The truck also sits on new 17" and 18" chrome wheels and tires. The truck runs and drives great on the road with a comfortable ride to it. This one is ready to show and go......
