1996 Ford Mustang
This is a totally custom and modified 1996 Anniversary Mustang that turns heads within a one mile radius upon firing it up. It has both the Mickey Thompson racing tires on American Racing wheels and the matching (to front) 17? Cobra's for the rear on BF Goodrich G-Force tires. There are less than 2,000 miles on this build since finished.
The exterior is done in custom paint with a cowl hood and spoiler. The interior is gray with cloth material and they both in excellent shape. The original gauges to the car are still there along with the power door locks and windows. That is where all similarities to a stock Mustang end.
There is almost too much to list on this $30,000.00+ build but here we go:
The car has a professionally built 500bhp 351 Windsor Stroker motor (392ci) that has been machined and balanced. It has a new SCAT crank, piston, rod, rings, main and cam bearings. New roller rockers, pushrods, oil pump, roller timing set, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, MAC headers to custom dual exhaust, oil pan kit, MSD ignition, distributor, wires and Optima battery. It stays cool with a new aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. The engine was recently dyno-tested at 411 horsepower and 468 maximum torque. The power gets to the ground through a new short throw 5-speed Tremec transmission through a modern drive line, custom sub-frame connectors and Auburn Posi-Pro rear end with 3:55 gear ratio. It sits on QA1 Precision coilovers and Competition Engineering struts on top of your choice in rolling stock described above.
All of this was professionally built with all new accompanying components to go with the entire drive train.
It looks like a sleeper with the street tires and rims but you are not going to be fooling anyone unless the engine is off. This Mustang is a 100% beast that is ready for your Friday night cruise-in, Saturday night drag racing or Sunday car show.
