This exceptional example of the legendary 288 GTO is finished its original Rosso paint with Nero hide interior and presents in immaculate unrestored condition. With only 3362 Km on the odometer it is almost certainly the least used and most original example that will ever become available.
Preserving not only its original paint and interior, it also comes with the factory supplied tyres, tools, paint touch up kit, handbooks and luggage. In addition it is accompanied by an extensive history file that includes the original invoices, details of its delivery to its first owner in Los Angeles and photographs of the car on the production line and in transit to the US.
Because the car was not completed to US emissions specifications it was exported solely for display purposes and never registered for use on the public roads, which is a key factor behind its exceptional preservation, as was the limited use that it received at the hands of its second and last owner, who brought the car to the UK 5 years ago.
