Vehicle Description
STK 2141 1973 MG B
The MGB was a pure two-seater roadster that made much better use of the interior space than the earlier MGA. It also had a somewhat softer suspension that provided a smoother ride and a slightly larger engine that furnished a higher top end. This 1973 MGB was fully restored to a high standard. The Burgundy repaint was applied in 2005 and all of the chrome trim is in good nick. After experimenting with various front end looks, MG returned to the traditional polished chrome grille in 1973. Classic British fog lights have also been installed. The black vinyl interior was completely redone and the seats may very well be the most comfortable MGB buckets around. The owner has provided a new soft top (manual), passenger tonneau cover and full-body car cover to keep things spotless. The five main-bearing 1798cc engine has been rebuilt and converted to a single carb set-up. It runs smoothly, sounds great and the four-speed manual gearbox is fully synchronized. Braking is a manual disc/drum configuration. Radial tires are mounted on factory MGB road wheels with chrome trim rings. This little 'B' roadster does this famous British brand proud.
