This a very nice and well maintained Black 1999 Corvette Hardtop that will stand out from other C5 Corvettes at your local cruise nights or club events. It is a two owner car, the original owner had it for fourteen years. The paint is in very good condition, the interior is in excellent condition with brand new Black leather seat covers it has always been garage kept and never driven in the winter. Chevrolet only produced the Hardtop model for two years, 1999 and 2000. 6,121 Hardtops were built during these two years, as a light weight performance Corvette that was 80 pounds lighter and had a much stiffer frame than the coupe, in 2001 this body style became the Z06. All Hardtops were limited to very few available colors and options, they all came with the 345hp LS1 5.7L engine, 6 speed manual transmission, 3.42 rear-end, standard black leather interior and the high performance Z51 suspension package. Additional options on this car included Active Handling and a Bose stereo system. A few cosmetic upgrades have been made which are the addition of Cray Scorpion wheels and a Corsa exhaust system. The Michelin Pilot Sport run-flat tires only have about 2,000 miles on them. Also included is a GM bra, seat protectors and an indoor storage car cover.
