The Chevrolet Camaro is a Pony Car class automobile manufactured by Chevrolet. It went on sale on September 29 1966 for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The first-generation Camaro debuted in September 1966 for the 1967 model year up to 1969 on a new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform. The 1967 model is distinguished by its side front window wings and lack of side markers. When the Camaro name was then unveiled the Automotive press asked Chevrolet product managers what is a Camaro? They were told it was a small vicious animal that eats Mustangs. The first-generation offered a standard Super Sport and Rally Sport editions. This 1967 is a true Super Sport model designated by the 4P on the trim tag. It is a awesome example of the american muscle car and has stunning looks with its red paint and white Z28 style stripes. The interior is in great condition and is in factory original condition save for the addition of an aftermarket column mounted Tach and a under dash 3 gauge cluster.
