1969 Ferrari 365 2+2 For Sale - 4.4 Litre V12 with 5 speed, Rare Factory Air Conditioning Legendary Motorcar is proud to present this 1969 Ferrari 365 2+2 The wonderful and very practical 330 GT 2+2 produced from 1964-1967 was in need of an improvement in order to remain competitive in the marketplace. The next generation was unveiled at the 1967 Paris Auto Show as the Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 with beautiful new Pininfarina coachwork and a new and larger 4.4-liter, 320-hp version of the veteran V-12. The chassis was now a wider track to allow for more interior room, as well as, independent rear suspension, a first for this marque’s 2+2 models, co-engineered with Koni it also featured a self-leveling ride system to assist in maintaining ride height when carrying additional passengers. Just in, is this 1969 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 Coupe, a beautiful example finished in desirable solid Nero black with tan leather interior. Originally delivered in 1969 to a Ferrari collector residing just outside of Turin, Italy, this car is one of just over 800 examples built from 1967 to 1971, which makes locating a car in this wonderful condition relatively difficult, moreover, to find one having travelled a low 41,155 kilometers. It is fitted with its factory numbers matching, 4.4 litre 12-cylinder, 320HP engine with 3 twin Weber Carbs, 5 speed manual transmission and Ansa mufflers which accentuate the great sound these great motors generate. The interior is remarkable as it has undergone a cosmetic restoration with components being restored or replaced as necessary to achieve a high standard - all wood and leather surfaces present very nicely with little or no evidence of wear including the seats, and leather dash, which has no cracking whatsoever. The headliner is perfect and the carpets appear to be in next-to-new condition. These cars came very well equipped with few options available - this is one of the few optioned with rare factory air conditioning. The overall body is very straight and the panel fitment is excellent. The non-metallic solid black paint is in very nice condition with no scratches or blemishes evident, and polished to show, this vehicle simply looks amazing offset with the polished Borrani wire wheels which are mounted with Michelin 215/70/15 radials. The bumpers appear to be re-chromed and as such, shine brightly, appearing as-new. All of the stainless trim pieces are very nice, free of any dents or damage, and in very good original condition. The underside of this car is in good original condition, maintained and well preserved having been under sealed in previous years. Driving one of these "Queen Mothers," as Road & Track called them, is heightened by the sound of the car’s Weber carburetors, capable handling, four wheel disc brakes and great sounding exhaust note. This car is ready for the most astute collector, investor or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the investment potential of this great Italian motorcar.
