For sale in our in our Dallas showroom is a happy little roadster. A 1960 Austin Healey Sprite complete with a period correct Judson Supercharger. Yes that is correct, this is a supercharged Austin Healey. This amazing little machine was built to drive and enjoy the drive. Just look at it, even it is smiling. The supercharger that was added helps this thing get moving in quick fashion. No it isnâ??t breaking any speed records but yes it is much faster than when left stock. All the adjustments have been done and the build was meticulous. The transmission is a 5 speed conversion from a Datsun 210 which makes those freeway speeds more attainable than when original. Also upgraded were the front brakes which were converted to discs. There is a folder full of receipts and instructions on how everything is set up. The paint is driver quality for that reason, you are not afraid to drive this car. Custom pin stripes were added for a custom touch. A forward tilt hood kit was added for the cool factor. The grill was customized to continue the look. The interior was all redone in the factory styling (which is deceptively roomy) but was done in a bright red to offset the black on the outside. Minilight wheels were used to complete the performance driver look. The joy of driving this car is hard to beat.
