Vehicle Description
Just Toys Classic Cars is so proud to present one of the most
iconic muscle cars from the late 60's. This here is a 1969
Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Not a tribute Z28, but a real deal Z28. These
cars were made so that Chevrolet could go Trans Am racing. Guys
Like Roger Penske campaigned these cars in 1969 and kicked
everyones butt on the track and won the championship in 1969. This
here is one of the finest examples of the street version that we
have seen in a very long time. To say that the fit and finish of
this car is stellar is an absolute understatement. The is a 100%
solid rust free car that was restored 16 years go to a very high
standard. So high that it got 987 points out of 1000 at a Camaro
Worldwide show. The code 52 Garnet Red paint on this car is
absolutely miles deep and looks like it was just painted yesterday.
If you are a rare Camaro fan, then this one needs to be in your
garage like yesterday.
So now that we have your attention with the outside of this beauty,
let's talk about the interior. Everything is well preserved with no
rips or tears in the seats, headliner, dash, or door panels. The
interior was originally red hounds tooth, and was changed to black
hounds tooth when it was restored. Other than that, the car was
born the way that you see it. The interior of this car is so clean
you would almost eat off of it. In the glove box is mounted an
AM/FM/Cd player that is hooked up to the back speakers. This way
you can still listen to your favorite tunes, and not cut up the
original dash and take out the original radio. This is a very nice
and well hidden upgrade. Everything is so comfortable in this car,
it just makes you want to relax and remember 1969 all over
again.
So now that we have you comfortable inside, reach up and hit that
key and listen to that DZ302 come to life. Now you are getting
ready to have some fun. This motor has been upgraded with power
steering, but the original steering box does come with the car if
you would want to put it back to 100% stock. There is also a nice
set of ceramic coated long tube headers that have been added for
more power and better sound, but again if you want to go back to
original, we have the original manifolds that go with the car. As
you will see in the pics we have all of the numbers to prove to you
that this is the real deal Z28. Now that you have this baby fired
up and have that all important ear to ear grin on your face, throw
that 4 speed in to first, step off the clutch and get ready to have
the drive of your life. All of this power goes out to the 12 bolt
3.73 geared rear end so get ready to hang on. All of this power
comes to a great stop as well with the power disc brakes up front.
a new master cylinder was installed when the restoration was done
so this car stops on a dime and leaves you change.
This car is so cool, and so special, that it really needs to be
appreciated in your collection today. These rare cars are getting
harder and harder to come by in nice condition like this one. We
have classic car financing for anyone that would want to take
advantage of the option. It is a great way to get the car that you
want and not pull off the money out of the bank at once. You can
always pay it off without any prepayment penalties. We look forward
to speaking with you soon, and we look forward to making you the
newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.
