This is a one owner California car. This car has no rust on it at all. The El Camino has been a cult following favorite since it was first introduced in the 50's. These are part car, part truck. Now they call them coupe utility vehicles. We just call them cool. This one is one of the finest examples that you are going to see out there. The fit and finish are in great shape, and the one respray that this car has just gleams as you will see in the pics. If you are an El Camino fan back in the day, you either had one of these in school or you wanted one. Well, here is your chance to get one of the cleanest ones out there today.
The interior of this car looks great. There are no rips or tears in the bench seat, or the headliner. This is just one solid car. The interiors on these vehicles were pretty simple, but very clean and easy to reach everything and to read everything. The only upgrade to this interior is the modern stereo that has been installed so you can listen to all of your favorite tunes as you listen to the wonderful V8 music that comes out of the exhaust pipes.
Speaking of V8 music, reach forward and hit that key and listen to the sweet sounds of the now 383 that is under this hood. This motor only has around 7000 miles on it so what you see on the dash is all that is on the chassis of this car. Now, as you sit behind the wheel just loving this car, you catch yourself with that classic ear to ear grin on your face. The rumble that comes out of the ceramic coated headers and leading out the FlowMaster mufflers is just sweet music to a car persons ears. All of this new found power goes out through the original Turbo 350 and then goes out through the 12 bolt rear end. We do not know what rear gears are in the car, but it does very well on the road so no drag race gears here in this one. We could just go on and on about all of the things this car has, but we would run out of room, and the pics show it all. This truly is a car that you must own if you are an El Camino fan. You don't find these very often as a California rust free car like this one. Especially with power steering, power brakes, and A/C.
