winner, this spectacular custom-built Chevy C10 is powered by a
balanced and blueprinted 4-bolt main 350 cu. in. V-8. Performance
goodies include a Competition cam with Competition 1.6:1 roller
rockers, an Edelbrock performance intake manifold with Holley 750
CFM double pumper, and Summit HEI distributor. Other highlights
include a custom polished aluminum radiator; power steering, and
Hedman headers with custom 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust including
electric cutouts and Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers. The
transmission is a GM 700R4 with B&M Truck Mega Shifter. The
chassis includes a 12-bolt Chevy rear end, Moroso Brute Strength
limited-slip differential with 4.11 gears, 4-wheel disc brakes, and
lowered front spindles. Other tweaks include a Painless fuse panel,
chromed hood hinges and radiator support brackets, a wood Bed,
custom stainless fuel tank, AirBag lowering system, and Boss
20-inch rims. The interior features Gray leather captain seats with
Mercedes-Benz carpeting, Dakota Digital dash, and a 3-inch VDO
tachometer. A family-owned vehicle, this C10 was purchased new in
August, 1965 at Eddie Hopper Chevrolet. Featuring show-quality
modifications and offered in virtual mint condition, the C10's body
is remarkably clean and straight and the paint is a custom Purple
color with White Pearl and Red Fleck with a glossy finish that
makes the truck show-worthy.
