We are excited to bring this 1956 Thunderbird to market. This peacock blue Thunderbird is very stylish and is mechanically sound. The exterior has benefited from a restoration about 15 years ago. It shows well but there are the assumed blemishes with a car of its age. However this car loves to be driven and you'll love being seen in it. 56' was the only year for the Continental or rear spare tire mounted to the rear bumper. On that note all of the chrome is extremely shiny from tip to tail. With painted steel wheels, period correct steel wheels and white wall tires this bird is a joy to look at. The fun just starts there because sitting behind the wheel is where this bird takes off. With a 292 engine and a 3 speed manual transmission this bird soars. The interior is in really good condition. The machine turned trim is in good shape along with everything else on the inside. The steering wheel has a few cracks but everything else is very shiny and nice to look at. If a summer shower pops up you will be able to put the factory correct Continental white convertible soft top up. It is in good clean condition however we recommend having an extra set of hands to raise it.
