This beautiful automobile underwent a frame-off restoration not long ago. The man who performed the task is a purveyor of Tri-5 NOS parts. He had the skill, knowledge and resources to restore this car to its original glory. This car has always been Imperial Ivory over Dusk Pearl Poly tu-tone (PNT 822D-OA)with black and silver upholstery (TRM 691). It was born with a 220HP-283 V8, Power Glide transmission, power steering and AM radio. The body was removed from the frame. You will discover the floors, braces, inner rockers and mounts to be in wonderful condition. The floor were refinished in the correct red iron oxide primer. The interior has been reconditioned. The upholstery is wonderful. Much of the interior chrome is original. It did not need replating. The spare tire compartment is in great condition. It contains the proper spare, bumper jack and lug wrench. The tailgate looks and performs as it should. The rear hatch chrome-plated pot metal is original. This could be refurbished, as it shows some pitting. The wheels were refinished, then mounted with BF Goodrich Silverton whitewalls. The correct wheel covers adorn the wheels. The chrome and stainless trim are very nice. The original Safely Glass still looks great. The emblems are correct and nice. This car has dual outside mirrors. With the exception of a modern battery, the engine bay is very correct. You will fine many fasteners and clips to be proper. The air cleaner, radiator and power steering pump are correct. The entire engine bay is restored, detailed and attractive. The engine runs great. The transmission works properly. The dual exhaust system is new. All features function as they should. All lights and gauges work. The doors lock via key. This car is in show condition. It has been driven 500+ miles since restored, so it is road worthy, yet not beat up. It certainly is ready to enjoy.
