Vehicle Description
The Citroen 2CV was referred to as 'the most intelligent application of minimalism ever to succeed as a car' by Car Magazine. The 2CV is most commonly referred to as a Deux Chevaux, French for two horses, a reference to the taxable horsepower of the engine. Nearly 4 million 2CVs were built between 1948 and 1990 with almost 1.25 million Truckettes manufactured. The 2CV was designed to be a versatile vehicle, equipped with four wheel independent suspension, front-wheel drive and a lightweight, easily serviceable engine. As with most microcars, the 2CV was also extremely economical to purchase and operate. This vehicle has been completely restored and is sold with a detailed appraisal/evaluation by a qualified collector car appraiser. Vehicle is sold with a current registration.
