Vehicle Description
You're looking at a 1941 Buick Super Convertible. This was among the cream of the crop in pre-war cars from the U.S. and many features are still impressive 75 years on.
This example is outfitted with the 248 cid, 125hp overhead valve inline 8 cylinder motor and a "3 on the tree" transmission. The Fireball Dynaflash starts here for us every time we go to fire it, with nary a pause. And the car idles and runs well.
Painted in Royal Maroon and with saddle brown leather interior with factory radio, heater-defroster, and glovebox mounted clock. It also sports driver's spotlight and GM foglamps for maximum (for the age) lighting.
The car is sure to garner attention from all ages, if our small sample size is any indication, and it's a ton of fun to cruise in a true conversation piece.
This car is a great driver-quality vehicle, and does have corresponding patina in some areas of the paint and interior. We've tried to capture those flaws in our photographs, but we're happy to assist in providing more information, photos, and/or video upon request for serious inquirers.
