For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne. This C10 has been tastefully upgraded with a LS6 Corvette engine and a Hughes 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The LS6 was fitted with a Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam, CNC'd Patriot cylinder heads, painless wiring and headers with dual exhaust. Should be plenty powerful considering a stock LS6 is hovering right around 400 horsepower. Painted black with a mild hood stripe and fitted with 18x9 Rozzi aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli performance tires. The lowered stance is thanks to two inch dropped spindles and air shocks. Inside is a red vinyl interior to compliment the mild hood stripe, aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, voltage and a temperature gauge. Adding to the ease of drivability comes from power brakes and power steering. The build/restoration was completed roughly 5 years ago and has plenty of fun drives to be had.
