1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe
This is a super high quality custom '40 that is all Henry Ford
steel.
Complete frame off restoration painted in Urethane Black with all
of the trim restored. The gaps are perfect and all of the trim
lines up...way better than it came off the line back then!
It is powered by a Chevy 350 that has been completely rebuilt and a
350 3-speed automatic transmission. The rear-end is an 8-inch out
of a Granada and the front is a Mustang II with independent
suspension with disc brakes (drums on rear). The rear suspension
was done by Chassis Engineering and is a parallel leaf
configuration.
The car starts, drives and runs like a new Cadillac. It is cooled
by a new Walker radiator set up, new heater, radial tires with
period correct steelie wheels. The running boards were just
replaced and we just went over the car stern to bow. It is really
an incredible '40 ready to cruise or show.
The interior is absolutely gorgeous and also brand new.
