The interior on this yellow roadster also appears to be original and preserved in its natural state. This car features the 1,493 CC inline 4 cylinder from the Triumph Spitfire and is mated to the Morris Marina gearbox that featured synchromesh in all 4 gears.
This example has all solid sheet metal, shiny yellow paint with the black Midget stripe, a good convertible top and the classic MG wire wheels that look excellent. This would make a great driver as is or would be a perfect start towards a Midget Rally car.
One turn of the key on this MG and the engine fires right up and sounds great for being over 40 years old. Considering the early technology and engineering this car drives very well and is remarkably easy to handle and getting up to speed with the 4-speed gearbox is more fun than a carnival ride.
