1940 FORD STREET RODExotic Classics is excited to present this custom-built 1940 Ford Street Rod. This car was reportedly built at a cost of about $130,000 and has covered a little more than 2,000 miles since completion. I regret that I do not have a complete bill of materials but we believe that the car has a Dennis Carpenter steel body with a custom frame. There are disc brakes at all four corners. It is powered by a 5.7L Chevrolet crate motor casting #10243880 (circa 1996-99) with Ram Jet PFI fuel injection. It is estimated to have 350 HP and 400 Lb-Ft of torque. It has a 1986 GM 700R4 (4160) automatic transmission. The rear is a Ford 9 C7AW-E. Luxury features include AC, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, stereo, and cruise control. The car looks outstanding in Poppy Red with Red and White interior. The car has been meticulously engineered with great workmanship. Fit and finish is excellent. The car has been fully serviced in our shop and it runs and drives excellent. This is one you can drive or show anywhere with pride and confidence.
