We purchased this from the 97 year old widow whose husband bought this car when it was 6 months old in Santa Monica, California. It is an incredible survivor with mostly original paint, completely original interior which is fabulous with only the seats being recovered with Jaguar kits exactly as original, original carpets, original top, original boot cover, original dash, all exceptional! The lady did not know that there was a board underneath the Hardura cover in the trunk, and therefore NO ONE has ever opened the tools or removed the spare tire. It is truly brand new in the trunk! Opening the bonnet reveals an entirely original engine bay, original paint, no reproduction anything of a beautifully maintained, fantastic running, 62,000 actual mile car which runs as you would expect a loved, maintained car would. This car has the most complete set of records I have ever seen, including the Passport to Service card in the British Leyland envelope, the original perfect binder which has every single book and supplement page right down to the lubrication chart, warranty cards, and others. The owner has kept a log since new of every time fuel, oil, or service was completed with date and mileage logged in, 20 pages of records! Every emission test and inspection receipt and sticker since new. Guys, IT DON'T GET NO BETTER! This thing is really cool.
