1969 Camaro RS Restomod
Complete frame-off rotisserie restoration completed in 2007. All
new sheet metal, truck, floors, radiator support, inner fenders, GM
rear quarters, and rocker panels. Stainless body bolts on
everything. Fit and finish are excellent with super slick Tuxedo
black BC/CC paint. Marquez billet tail lamp housings with front and
rear LED lights. DSE electric head lamp motors (no more vacuum).
Global West front suspension with sub frame connectors and tubular
A arms. Wilwood 4 wheel disk brakes. QA1 front coilover adjustable
shocks, QA1 rear adjustable shocks, 2” dropped spindles and
multi-leaf rear springs. Billet Specialties split spoke 17” wheels
and new Nitto tires.
Original matching numbers 327, align bored, balanced, and blue
printed – built to 350+ HP with super smooth shifting TH350
transmission and aluminum driveshaft. Mini tubbed and narrowed Ford
9” rear end with 3.00 gears. Edelbrock Endurashine intake manifold
with 600 cfm cab and billet air cleaner. Comp cam, MSD Electronic
ignition. Power steering. Full length Hooker headers with 2 1/2
“exhaust running thru Dynomax mufflers. Chrome March serpentine
system. Northern aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. Vintage
heat/AC with chrome compressor and alternator. Chrome EMS billet
hood hinges, polished billet bender braces, chrome aluminum valve
covers and DSE delay wipers.
Custom simulated wood dash and new classic Auto meter gauges.
Ididit tilt steering column with Billet Specialites steering wheel.
Leather/suede interior and trunk. New Kenwood AM/FM/CD player with
remote.
Car could easily be a Barrett Jackson car.
