Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this stunning 1930 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton pickup truck. Based on the new-for-1930 Universal AD platform the truck recently saw a full professional restoration in excess of $35k and is among the finest pre-war pickup truck restorations we've seen. This example was completed two years ago by Reinhold's Restorations in Pennsylvania and has been driven just over 500 miles since (and certainly always garaged).Cab and fenders are exceptionally straight with excellent paint quality and door fitment; finished in very attractive Boatswain Blue the blue cab black fenders and solid oak bed make for a striking color combination. Wheels have been beautifully restored and are wearing new but period correct bias ply Denman tires.The interior has been restored with the same attention to detail; wood trim surrounding the windows is in excellent as-new condition along with the dash steering wheel seat upholstery and all hardware. Correct painted wood slat roof. Glass is excellent and all door latches and window regulators have been restored.Chevrolet was a pioneer in overhead valve engines offering an overhead valve straight six while Ford still powered their trucks with flathead four cylinder engines. Under the hood is a 194 cubic inch "stovebolt" inline six mated to a four-speed transmission. Nicely detailed and correct engine compartment including original horn. The only deviation from stock is the addition of turn signals. All drivetrain components including engine transmission suspension and brakes were fully rebuilt when the truck was restored.
