*** NOTE: I have included some pics in the slideshow of similar Chevelles in Desert Beige with Fawn interior to show what the car could be when restored. ***
1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS. Car was originally Desert Beige with Fawn vinyl interior. The VIN says it was a 6cyl car but I believe it had the optional larger 230ci L6 engine because of the unloaded front spring height and optional engine badge holes behind the drivers side front fender well. It was originally a bucket seat console car with a floor shift automatic. What you see is what I have. No engine or transmission.
Body has been soda blasted. The hood will need to be replaced. Trunk lid looks ok. Rockers are ok. Trunk weatherstrip channels are mostly ok. Front and rear window channels are ok with no issues. It will need both lower rear quarters. Rear trunk valance needs work. Needs a drivers side door skin patch. Passenger side door is ok. Both fenders look good. Inner fenders and cowl are good. It will need two long floor pans and a trunk pan. Drivers side A pillar will need some work as well. (see pics)
All of the glass is good except the front and rear windshields are missing.
The only trim I have is what you see on the car.
The gauges appear to be there. The console is missing. The original seats are all there.
Wheels and tires look to be brand new.
*** I do also have another 1964 Chevelle 2dr Sport Coupe non-SS car missing the front clip but with a motor needing to be rebuilt, a back glass, and various other dash and trim pieces that I could sell to go with this SS car at an additional cost. Let me know if you are interested. ***
