This 1914 American Lafrance Speedster for sale has Massive T-head, six-cylinder engine which is very powerful and imposing, mated to a 3 speed transaxle with dual chain driving the the rear wheels. The sound of a chain drive vehicle singing down the round is like no other sound you will hear. The overall length is about 16', wheelbase is 141? and power steering, something that is much needed and makes the driving experience more enjoyable.
Current owner purchased from Germany and at the time it had a Czechoslovakian ownership dating it 1914. The carburetor rebuilt and a new exhaust manifold made and adjusted the carburetor and timing, both magneto and distributor are working correctly. Custom rims were made by Coker to fit the ALF wheels, so it does not have the bulky tires you normally see. Fenders were made as well as the box in the back.. The lights are working and are halogen. The seller reports mechanically the car is performing well with no known issues. It drives and pulls strong without any misses or unwanted noises. Seller has owned since 2006.
