For Sale: 1967 Volkswagen Beetle in Milwaukie, Oregon

Vehicle Description

Attention Bug Fans! California Black Plate We found a good one. As those of you who follow our auctions know, we at Speed Sports find some very interesting vehicles. While there may have been millions of these beetles made over their legendary run of production, rarely do we find one that trips our triggers like this one has. This is a 1967 Beetle Coupe in Pearl White with Black Low Back Bucket Seats. That in itself is not what makes this car stand out. It is nice and clean and well sorted and the wheels and stance are perfect but what makes this car unique is the documentation and service. California owned and dry, this VW was pampered and serviced like a vintage Porsche. We took the time to scan every receipt just to provide you bidders with a little of the Shock and Awe we experienced when we first read them over. It would take all day to type up what all was done but suffice it to say, we were impressed enough to buy and represent this bug right alongside our vintage Porsches and other classics. The Volkswagen boasts a freshly built 1679cc engine. All of the parts including the case were new and purpose built for this VW. It was built for mild performance and longevity. As a matter of fact, every upgrade or repair done to this Beetle was never completed as a band aid fix. The repairs and upgrades were meant to last. Because of that care and significant investment, we believe this bug is head and shoulders above the pack. This VW starts easily with no smoke and runs well. It is a tad louder than stock, but not obscene. The power is even and fun. It has no problem in the hills or on the open road. The suspension, brakes and wheel/tire setup mesh so well together that you will forget that you are driving a bug. Its not bouncy or loose. This little car is a blast to drive. The gears are easy to find and all the syncros are tight. The mechanics of this car are excellent. Is this Beetle perfect? No! Its old and quirky and fun and dependable, but it is not perfect. Its not a show car, it is a driver. Sure, take it to cruise ins and the local VW days.. But that about as far as I would go in its current condition. If you are considering a bid, please take the time to go over the pics and receipts included in our auction. They will tell as good a story as I can..(better probably). Also, we vet our bidders pretty heavily so please contact us before bidding if you are new to eBay. We love to talk cars and can describe this or any of the vehicles in our inventory to you over the phone as well. Thanks again for looking and happy bidding J Matt 503-819-9007 Justin 503-969-5127
