This European specification Daytona Spyder is the 48th of 121 examples produced. It has full history from new. It was imported by Lebanese Ferrari agent Elie Ayache, Beirut, Lebanon and sold to its first owner, an Arab Prince. In 1978, this European specification Daytona Spyder found its way to the United States when purchased by Nevada Ferrari collector, Mr. C. Corzan. Owned by Mr. Corzan through the mid 1990’s, this Daytona Spyder was then sold to the United Kingdom where it was offered by Coys, London. In 1999, it once again found its way to the United States where it was offered for sale at the Brook Quail Lodge auction. Purchased at this auction by previous owner, a well-known New York collector, it has been housed in this collection from 1999 to the present. While in its previous ownership, this Euro Daytona Spyder has been maintained when and where needed by a well-known Connecticut specialist. Recently, this Daytona Spyder has received a bare metal concours repaint and new interior by Autosport Designs, Inc. in its original color Giallo Fly 20.Y.191 Salchi as confirmed by Ferrari Classiche.
