Worldwide Vintage Autos is excited to offer this gorgeous, ULTRA RARE 1962 Austin-Healy 3000 MKII! A one-year-only model, this 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 “Tri-Carb” roadster was recently refinished in Old English White with Colorado Red accents coupled with a new red interior. Having a time machine is about the only way you'll find a more amazing example of this elegant, sporty beauty! Leather in immaculate condition, dash intact, perfect carpet…everything is as it should be, on this one.
A little history: Introduced in March 1961 as the BN7 Mark II (2-seat) and BT7 Mark II (2+2), the 3000 Mark II series came with three SU HS4 carburetors and an improved camshaft. Of all the 'big Healys', the BT7 Mark II (2+2) is the second-rarest, with only 5,096 units produced (The BN7 Mark II only saw 355 units).
EXTERIOR
-Professionally done paint and bodywork. Old English White with Colorado Red accents.
-Ultra dry California / Colorado Car.
-All chrome and trim present and in remarkable, show, condition.
INTERIOR
-New professionally done interior. Lipstick red with white piping.
-Restored dash.
-Included with sale matching red cockpit / tonneau cover.
-Original “Banjo style” steering wheel.
MECHANICAL
- The engine was rebuilt by Speedwell Engineering less than 5,000 miles ago.
-The 4-speed gearbox was rebuilt by Robbins Restorations.
-Rare solid-disc wheels.
