1965 Austin Healy MK III Convertible ( BJ8 - phase 2) in recent, and freshly color sanded Red finish w/ new Black bucket seat interior.The car is powered by a 2912 cc overhead valve six-cylinder engine capable of producing 150 horsepower. There is a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive and a front disc and rear drum brakes.The BJ8 was introduced in 1963 and remained in production until 1967. The BJ8 brought many improvements over its predecessor, the BJ7. The BJ8 included a twin two-inch SU HD8 carburetors on the six-cylinder engine capable of producing an impressive 150 horsepower and 173 foot-pounds of torque. The exhaust system was new and practical. It was re-positioned which gave it greater ground clearance. The BJ7 had introduced roll-up windows in the Austin-Healey and continued in the BJ8. It comes with new radial tires, factory wire wheels and original features. Equipped with new deluxe fabric top w/ clear rear plastic window. It also has a deluxe fabric tonneau boot cover for when top is down. Included, a burled walnut dash,telescoping steering wheel. The rear trunk has been nicely detailed w/ new carpeting. A new battery it mounted in the trunk w/ a full size spare / wire rim. the wheel hub nut wrench also present.
