For sale is an amazing 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible. This beauty has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration. The odometer currently reads 51,000 miles with only 692 miles since it was finished in 2013. It was originally a Texas car which showed during the restoration process. The body was in great shape to begin with but the current owner spared no expense in bringing it to its current state which can only be described as Concourse Condition.
Every last piece of the car was disassembled. The exterior was meticulously restored to original specs except for the headlights which were upgraded to a chrome trim package. The original headlights come with the sale. The interior was restored to original specs including the 3 tone color scheme. The whole drive train was rebuilt. The entire brake system, suspension, and fuel system are new. All the electrical wiring was also replaced from front to rear. And all chrome pieces were “Triple Chrome Plated”. The undercarriage along with the rest of the vehicle is spotless.
Features include: 292 cu. in. V8 engine, automatic transmission, power seats, power windows, original Ford seatbelts, tire jack, and both the soft top and hard top.
This Thunderbird is better than it was from the factory. It’s truly one of a kind.
