1992 FERRARI MONDIAL T 3.4 CABRIOLET for sale Exotic Classics is pleased to present one of the final examples of Ferraris Mondial T Cabriolet. This car is featured in Rossa Corsa Red with Tan leather and Black convertible top.The Mondial T is the final evolution of the model. It is visually different from preceding Mondial models, the most recognizable being the redesign of the air intakes to a smaller, neater rectangular shape. The door-handles are of a visually different design and, along with the bumpers, are body colored, while a painted black band was added around the bottom of the body. The 'T' designation calls attention to the car's new engine/transmission layout: the previously-transverse engine was now mounted longitudinally whilst the gearbox remained transverse, thus forming a 'T'. By adopting this layout, a longer engine could be mounted lower in the chassis, improving handling dramatically. The transverse gearbox is fitted with a Limited Slip Differential with a twin-plate clutch design with beveled gears driving the wheels. The engine is up to 3.4 L and 300 hp. The engine is controlled by Bosch Motronic electronic engine management that integrated EFI and ignition control into a single computer unit. Engine lubrication is upgraded to a dry-sump system. The "T" brings other Ferrari firsts, such as power assisted steering, and has a 3-position electronically controlled suspension for a variable trade off between ride quality and road holding. It also had standard ABS.Our Mondial features 348 Challenge wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tires. It was a California car until 2007 and has substantial service records from authorized California Ferrari dealers. The car had two owners in California. The most recent owner purchased the car in California and brought it East when he relocated. The Carfax and service records show that the odometer was replaced in 1997 at which time the car had 20,799 miles. The new odometer started from zero, and current reads 28,723. So the true mileage is about 49k. Original books and tools are included.
