Rare 1980 Camaro Z28, original mileage of 21,590. This garage-kept covered car is a 4-speed manual transmission that shifts flawlessly, powered by a V8-350 engine. Tilt wheel, power windows, powered disk brakes. This car has had one repaint in the original color of Dark Claret (maroon) before I bought this car. The interior is Camel (tan). The production total of Z28's was 45,137 in 1980. The production total of Dark Claret/Camel from Norwood, Ohio plant was 8,507 where this car was produced. Rally wheels match the beautiful exterior color. Gauges are clear. The glass all around the car is incredible, with one small nick in front windshield from long ago, has not spread. This Camaro Z28 has no dents or rust. Does have a few scratches in paint (minor) but no body damage. The hood and spoiler gaps are nice all the way around. Tire treads are like new, all tires matching, with maybe 5,500 miles of wear. Passenger headlight has been replaced at some point, with small chip crack on outer shell. Rear cloth seats are the original fabric. Front seat covers are vinyl after market, with driver seat seam worn in stitching. Front two seats are in superb condition underneath covers, and if replaced, would increase the value. The two interior door panels are in really good shape, these are after market replacements as well. The rear plastic side panels are showing a little scuffing and wear. Dashboard, carpet, console, headliner, and back speaker tray look fantastic. This car was factory rust-proof undercoated, and sealed with sound deadener. The plugs in the doors and engine bay were installed in the factory. The engine equipment is all stock, no modifications have been done on this car. This is one of the cleanest, all stocked (engine), very low mileage Camaro Z28's you will find. The ride and steering is smooth and near perfect, in my opinion, it drives as good as it looks.
Sold new at Spear Chevrolet, Inc in West Mifflin 15122 with performance package. Have original build sheet, owners manual, all with clean title. I believe I was the third title holder of this Camaro with corresponding documents. Original build date of 11-2-1979, matching stamp numbers on engine and transmission. You can judge for yourself the tremendous condition this rare Camaro Z28 is in- tried to show all descriptions in photos. What does not work on this car is the A/C, radio, and the tachometer malfunctions. This Camaro title is clean and in hand for the next owner.
