For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro in Charlotte, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

Beautifully built and awesomely powerful, this 400+ hp 1967 Chevrolet Camaro looks unique from every angle, but at no point does it lose one bit of that iconic bow tie magic.

Hugger Orange is the color you know you want on a Camaro as aggressive as this one. It's a legend for being the most intimidating and confident hue to come out of the 1960s. Of course it doesn't hurt that this has been given all the right SS upgrades, including the dual white stripes, cowl induction hood, D80 ducktail spoiler, and badging on the blacked out grille. Of course no authentic fast Chevy would be complete without Rally wheels. But as much as this looks like it's that perfect first-generation Camaro, you instantly notice something a little bit different. Without the front bumper this one looks a little meaner; like the engine needs more room to breathe...but more on that in a moment.

Complementing the bright paint is a set of freshly restored black buckets that greet you when you climb aboard. Fresh carpets and matching door panels complete the OEM look. There's even a center console with the iconic horseshoe shifter for some premium touches. But once you slip behind the wheel, it's instantly apparent this car was built for speed. Beyond the no-nonsense black three-spoke steering wheel there is a full set of AutoMeter gauges. If that was not enough of an indicator that there is something ferocious under the hood, then maybe you should take note of the blacked out center dash panel so that there is nothing to get in-between you and the sound/fury of some serious power.

Under the hood you'll find a fresh 383 cubic-inch stroker V8. It's a crate motor from Jegs that is rated at 403 hp out of the box. It makes a serious rumble out of the Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Best of all, the engine is just broken in at 2,500 miles. All that power is handled by GM's stout TH350 three speed automatic, and this one features a transmission oil cooler so you can consistently perform at your best. Power is nothing without control, and so this Camaro has also been upgraded nicely with power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes.

Gorgeous, fast, and fully sorted, this is an awesome Camaro has the right color for plenty of attitude and all the right V8 power to back it up. It's hard to believe you can get all of this for under $32K. Call today!!
