For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Fallbrook, California

Vehicle Description

Just reduced price from $63,000 to $58,000. This 1969 Camaro RS/SS has received an extensive rotisserie body-off restoration in 2003/2004 timeframe. Since its restoration only 3100 miles has been put on the car; the rest of the time this car has been garaged. The car has been updated with modern features like 4 wheel Baer drilled and slotted disc brakes, 17 inch wheels and tires, power steering and Vintage Air. All codes correct to document this X11D80 1969 RS/SS; Cortez Silver exterior with black custom interior. L48 – 350 /300 HP engine. The engine had work done to it during restoration but I only have paperwork to support the BroDix ported and polished heads, Comp Cam hydraulic roller cam with 269 duration, 276 exhaust with .050 lift. I don’t know if the engine was bored or stroked? I do not know how much horsepower the engine puts out as I have not had it dyno tuned. I can attest to the fact that it goes like hell. The rear-end is a 12 bolt 3.73 positaction with a Moser performance differential cover. Transmission is a 700R4 automatic. Other features of this car includes tilt steering wheel, special instruments gauge package, Rally Sport package that includes tail panel with lowered backup lights, black grille with hidden headlights, headlight washers, simulated rear fender louvers, wheel opening moldings, bright accented taillights and front and rear spoilers. Other features include rosewood steering wheel, rosewood dash and console, bright metal pedal trim, front and rear bumper guards, cowl style hood, hockey stripes, front and rear spoilers, AM radio which works. The car's paint is in excellent condition, with a beautiful shine. The black hockey stripes have been clear coated over. There are two small chips in the paint that have been touched up but not noticeable. The body is super straight with no signs of rust, dents or scratches. All exterior stainless trim is straight, polished, and in very excellent condition. All chrome bumpers have a newer finish and are in very excellent condition. Exterior door handles appear to be older or original but are in good condition. Taillights are in very good condition with no cracks or fading. Weather-stripping is new and in very excellent condition. This car wears a set of Budnik Arrowhead wheels, featuring gray spokes and a polished lip. These wheels are in very good condition with no curb rash. BF Goodrich G-Force Supersport A/S radial tires are sized 215/45/17 in the front, 255/45/17 in the rear, and show an average of 8/32nds tread depth remaining. The exhaust sports Hooker ceramic coated headers, dual connected exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers that gives the car a deep reach tone and a lope with the cam. The interior seat covers, door panels, center console and carpet have all been replaced during the restoration and are in excellent condition. Correct appearing GM seatbelts are present and are in excellent condition. Dash pad is new and correct original style pad for an air conditioned car, this pad is in excellent condition. Package tray is in excellent condition with correct overdrive lens for the 700R4 transmission. Dash gauges are in very good condition with no fading of the lenses and all gauges and lights work properly. And yes, the clock works. Every electrical item works on this car to include the vacuum operated disappearing headlights. Prepare to be blinded when lifting the hood on this car because nearly everything under it has been chromed or polished, including the cobra style air cleaner, dual quad Edelbrock 500 cfm carburetors, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, valve covers, alternator, alternator bracket, power steering reservoir, master/booster/valve brake combo, water pump, hose clamps, spark plug wire shielding, billet aluminum pulleys, breather, body bolts, water outlet, fender braces, hood latch and striker, oil dipstick, fuel lines, voltage regulator, radiator cap, and timing cover and March serpentine system. Other additions to this car include Flame Thrower distributor, 8.2 ignition wires, powder coated engine block, heads and hood hinges, front KYB shocks and rear QA1 shocks. The engine compartment, trunk, and rust-free underside have been extensively detailed and are clean enough to eat off of. Trunk includes mat, spare tire cover, complete jack, spare tire and heavy-duty car cover. Included with this car are records since 2003, a reproduction window sticker, owner's manual with dealer folder and accessory booklet. I’m sure there are items that I have forgot to mention but I want to assure you there is nothing wrong with this car. The car is show quality and I have won many awards with her. She is a joy to drive, a head turner and always gets thumps up from other drivers. Please, serious buyers only, no trades or lowball offers.
