Harley-Davidson softail motorcycles are designed to look like the hardtail bikes of the past, while still offering the comfort of rear suspension. The shock absorbers are positioned along the axis of the motorcycle tucked away under the transmission.
The 1996 Heritage Softail is powered by a 1338cc V2 four stroke engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. This is a very low mileage and properly maintained motorcycle in excellent condition. It features an air cooling system, 5-speed transmission, dual disc front brakes, single disc rear brakes, electric starter, quick disconnect windshield, chrome foot rest, upgraded chrome tail pipes, and dual saddle bags. This Harley looks as good as the low miles suggests. It is still in the wrapper! This is fine classic Harley motoring with modern technology improving the ride quality to today's standards.
