When the current owner of this fantastic MGB purchased the car, he was aware that work had been done to the motor, and the transmission had been replaced. The previous owner had also purchased chrome bumpers for the car, and after being dissatisfied, had them re-chromed to the brilliant shine they currently possess as well as the following upgrades/modifications: new a-frames on front end, all new wiring, new aluminum racing hood which is 17 pounds lighter than steel, a stainless steel exhaust, all new tires and rims, new convertible top, new top bows, new upholstery, new carpet kit, new 1972 style dash (with glove compartment and console), rebuilt the speedo, rebuilt the front end, new bushings in rear end, clutch has been replaced, wooden wheel, new boot cover, carpeted the trunk, new battery and battery cut-off switch. Since purchasing this car, the current owner has had a new custom tonneau cover (fabricated by Gassman Automotive), and had a new rack and pinion (installed by Gassman Automotive). Among all of the new items, the car is also equipped with a 4 speed transmission with overdrive and a British-Leyland am/fm radio. The car has been restored, and has truly been taken care of. The car runs and drives exceptionally well. It truly is a great example of a classic B, and is ready to take on a long drive of your choosing!
